TWO PERSONS WERE KILLED WHEN A PASSENGER BUS PLUNGED INTO TINAU RIVER

An ill fated bus fell off into Tinau River Saturday noon. The bus was heading from Palpa, near to Upper Siddhababa of Siddhartha Highway to Butwal. Two people are confirmed to die in the accident. The dead body of a man and a woman was recovered but they could not be yet ascertained. According to the Police, the bus, Lu 1 Kha 5771 fell off into the River. Through the preliminary investigation, the accident occurred when the mudslip fell from Siddhababa that pushed the bus to the roadside. Most of the passengers from the bus managed to came out of the bus. The bus was carrying more than 20 people, out of which most of the passengers managed to come out, said the police. The rescue operation could not be effective for the delay in reaching to the site.
