Interview with Producer and Distributor Sunil Manandhar

Sunil Manandhar is a producer and distributor of Nepali movies. Sunil produced three movies Didi Bhai, Mayas Bar and Mokshya. Among these three movies, Didi Bhai was a hit whereas other two movies were flop business wise. He shares about his experience of making movies and business of Nepali cinemas. He also shares how he helped Aryan Sigdels movies to get released by investing money as a distributor. Sunil Manandhar shares that the movie, Didi Bhai was produced with the investment of Rs. 45 lakh and around 5 lakh was gained from the movie. The moie, Mayas Bar was produced with the investment of 1 crore and 45 lakh. In addition to that, the movie, Kohinoor was one of the movies in the country that set the record which cannot be broken within 10 years. The profitable movies of the year 2071 are Jerryy, Kabaddi, November Rain, Kohinoor, Himatwali. Thus the producer and distributor of the Nepali movies, Sunil Manandhar shares his experience of producing the movies and the condition of the Nepali movies in the present.
